The Socialist Alliance Democracy Platform wishes to submit the six separate resolutions listed below for the SA AGM on Saturday February 5th 2005.

Please acknowledge receipt of these resolutions

RESOLUTIONS

1. This Conference re-affirms the principle of striving for the unity of all socialists, and therefore demands that all bodies of the Socialist Alliance start functioning again as per Constitution

2. The SA agrees to establish an editorial board to produce a regular national weekly SA newspaper

3. The SA adopts the aim of a workers party as one of the prime objectives of the SA.

4. The SA adopts a structure that encourages affiliation and representation of affiliated organizations

5. The SA adopts a system of proportional representation for the elections to all committees and representative bodies

6. SA Members have a right to expect that decisions and recommendations of the Appeals Committee are made within an agreed time limit.
